End of month

The end of the month means many things are coming to an end as well. Since school will be starting this week or next (depending on where you live), most people will be ending their month of vacation. The end of August usually means the end of "summer" or warm weather. I think since we've been back the hottest it has been is 80ºF. So, this means the dark, dreary, and wet winter will be the norm for the coming months.

But our hope is that the fall will be a time of new beginnings as well. We've already met a new couple who has a little girl the same age as our youngest. They have already met at the park and played for a couple of hours (with parental supervision of course).

I have been invited to attend a newly formed monthly discussion group very similar to the one I started last year. This meeting is on a bigger scale and has a lot more influence as it is a spin off of a well recognized national Christian radio program.

August may be the end of sunshine, but hopefully September will be the beginning of planting, watering, and harvesting.
